So, where did this whole End of an Empire thing come from, anyway? Celldweller’s epic four-part record series is nothing short of mind-warping — and any Cellmate must be curious as to how this idea manifested in Klayton’s head and turned into the masterful record is has become.

Celldweller Breaks Into Billboard’s Electronic Album Chart with ‘End of an Empire (Chapter 03: Dreams)’

Revolutionary to the point that it’s breaking into charts on a consistent basis — Celldweller’s End of an Empire series has yet again landed on Billboard’s Electronic Album chart, this time for the record’s third chapter: Dreams.

Dreams debuted earlier this week at #20 on the chart — following a #22 appearance by Chapter 02: Love and a #15 peak from Chapter 01: Time. The charting comes after the premiere of aggressive cyber punk single, “Good L_ck (Yo_’re F_cked),” and progressive electronic rock ballad “Just Like You,” both of which appear on Dreams.

As well as landing the #20 spot on the Billboard Electronic chart, End of an Empire (Chapter 03: Dreams) has received positive reception from electronic and rock press outlets. Revolver Magazine exclusively premiered the Combichrist remix of “Good L_ck (Yo_’re F_cked)” and Substream Magazine introduced the original version of the track on the albums release date, March 13.

FiXT PREMIERE: Celldweller Drops Monumental New Track, “Just Like You”

Straight off of the third chapter of the End of an Empire series, Dreams, Celldweller’s majestic new single, “Just Like You,” can be streamed below.

The song, which is a blissful juxtaposition to Dreams first single, “Good L_ck (Yo_’re F_cked),” launches the listener into a transparent, alternate world through its supreme vocal delivery and august, deep instrumentation.

Celldweller said “Just Like You” was his venturing back into a place from where he’s come, lyrically. The theme of the song parrallels the theme of Dreams.

“Dreams are generally in constant threat of dying, and it was never more apparent than early on in my career,” Celldweller said. “The concept of total failure and having to abandon my dream — specifically the dream of making music for a living, was sometimes downright debilitating. Pulling those moments into the lyrics and music was very cathartic for me. Plus, I got to do all the sound design on my monster Modular synth rig, which made it even more fulfilling for me.”

Celldweller Premieres Combichrist Remix Of “Good L_ck (Yo_’re F_cked)” At Revolver Magazine!

Industrial and electronic rock greats collide with the brand new Combichrist remix of the latest Celldweller single,”Good L_ck (Yo_’re F_cked).” The remix, which is a perfect mixture of the rock and electronic music worlds colliding, premiered exclusively via Revolver Magazine.

The song comes off of the third chapter of Celldweller’s End of an Empire record, titled Dreams. The original version of “Good L_ck (Yo_’re F_cked)” dropped last week via FiXT Online. Dreams is due out March 13 via FiXT. Pre-order the record now via iTunes or the FiXT Store.

Good L_ck (Yo_’re F_cked) Released For Pre-Order Customers!

The wait for new Celldweller music is finally over — as long as you pre-ordered the forth-coming End of an Empire (Chapter 03: Dreams) that is!

Just like the last two chapters of Celldweller‘s latest musical saga, FiXT is rewarding pre-order customers with an early download of the high energy track “Good L_ck (Yo_’re F_cked) to give people a taste of what’s in store for them on March 13th, 2015 when the new chapter releases with another emotional cinematic vocal track, 3 more Factions (conceptual / instrumental sound pieces inspired by the main vocal tracks on the album) and 4 remixes from Combichrist, Hecq, Tom Player and Mobthrow.

Chapter 03 has probably been the most fun I’ve had making the album so far. The biggest reason being I wrote “Good L_ck (Yo_’re F_cked) as someone else. What does that exactly mean? Friend and colleague Grant Mohrman and I have been working on a movie script. The story revolves around an individual who fronts an electronic punk rock band. Although that aspect of the story no longer exists, I wrote this song before we scrapped that idea. I was envisioning a song that would open the entire movie, including lyrics that applied to the premise of the film. It’s rare for me to write and entire song in a day, but that’s what happened with G.L.Y.F. – because I took a moment to shed the concept of being Celldweller and instead wrote from the perspective of someone else. Then I reproduced the song from the ground up and it became a Celldweller track that naturally fits alongside everything else in the End of an Empire universe.
