Returning to the retro future “Waste My Time” is an upbeat and defiant track about a relationship gone wrong. Complex electronic elements blend with synthesizers and gritty guitars to push an atmosphere full of anxiety and grim determination. The provocative lyrics draw the obvious conclusion.
