Celebrating a lost format of the past and foreshadowing elements of the future, we’re proud to announce the Mini-Disc format coming to the Scandroid universe. The 2016 debut Scandroid album is now available on a limited edition mini disc, offering fans a unique and nostalgic way to experience the groundbreaking album.
Coming in 2024, a series of vintage Mini-Disc players, and other relics from the year 2525 will arrive with the new Scandroid album and novel.

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the debut, self-titled Celldweller album, FiXT has announced the Celldweller Definitive Edition 3-LP Vinyl and expanded 3-album Digital version featuring remastered audio along with dozens of bonus tracks and all new remixes and re-imagined versions of iconic tracks from the album. The vinyl and digital versions of the album are available for pre-order now from FiXT with December ‘23 and February ‘24 release dates, respectively.
Available today is a brutal Metalcore re-imagination of the hit Celldweller track “Switchback” from synth metal / deathcore artist and label-mate, The Browning. This high-octane reinterpretation of the track is nothing short of defiance as The Browning infuses it with heavier vocals and guitars with all new lyrics in the bridge. It may be too late to switchback but there’s still more to come.

The origins of Void Chapter can be traced back to 2006 during the Take It And Break It remix competition for Celldweller, which served as a catalyst for the members’ individual careers. Brian and Otto met in the remix community and discovered they had an affinity for heavy music, synthesizers, and sound design. They would work on many projects together throughout the years and even land a few major movie trailers and TV placements with their music. Otto was also very involved in the Propellerhead Reason Community, where he met Adam, who enthusiastically shared similar interests with the other two. It wasn’t long before the three started making music collectively for trailer and production libraries.

“While world building concepts for new Scandroid album I kept coming back to the idea of the ‘datastream’,” explains Klayton. “The concept tied in perfectly with my plans to release the album on MiniDisc as I had already begun the process of procuring and personally restoring MiniDisc players from around the world to make available as part of the multimedia experience of this album cycle. The song kept pulling me towards my 2012 track “The Possibilities of Purpose” from the Blackstar Score and I knew this would be the perfect time to bring a Blackstar theme into the new Scandroid album which directly connects to the Scandroid universe in an upcoming novella.”
